M14 "HOLLYWOOD" BLANK ADAPTER
Used in film and reenactments.
This is a small top hat style plug that works by removing the flash hider. Placing this inside and re-installing the flash hider.
Please note, the blank adapter can not be seen externally so triple check that it has been removed before putting the rifle away and/or using live ammunition.
Failure to do so will result in a plugged barrel and a catastrophic detonation. This is a commonly used device but extra caution must be used.
*NOTE, M14s TYPICALLY DO NOT LIKE PLASTIC BLANKS. IT CAN BE DONE BUT IT ISN'T NORMALLY RECOMMENDED
