8mm blank made from surplus military brass. This item is corrosive and must be cleaned properly.
Charged HOT for bolt action rifles only. (These are too short to feed in semi/full auto weapons anyway.)
In-house testing shows about 1 blank in 100 can be a dud but this item is priced with that in mind.
* See more detailed description at bottom of page.
8mm Standard blank.
8mm blank made from .30-06 or other similar brass. Charged for bolt action rifles only. These are quite hot with significant muzzle flash.
No color painted on the tip.
8mm G43 Rifle blank.
An old classic from "Blanks Guy".
Mid-length 8mm blank made for the G43 to work at a .140 - .145 BFA (a bit softer load than military spec) it will also work for the K98 as well.
Old timers know the drill. Magazine feed lips need "tweaked" to feed properly in most rifles but these were the standard back in the day.
This blank will also work well on machineguns as a moderate load. Not the best load for "semiauto machine guns" as they are not hot enough for most guns to cycle
Tip color is bright blue.
8mm Green Tip blank
The original Atlantic Wall Blank
This is a super hot bolt action blank though it works on G43 rifles at about .187
Machine guns will need feed tray spacers to properly feed the shorter length.
While we developed this load 10 years before Prvi Partisan released their full length red tip blank on the market it is pretty much the same load and should run Mgs at pretty much the same BFA setting.
If you are looking for just a hot 8mm blank then save $ and purchase the standard blanks above.
*This blank is a copy of WWII era blanks. The short case is not always the best for feeding. A quick flick of the wrist is the best way to get them to feed. (Work the action extremely fast) This blank is what it is. It will not work well in all rifles If it was a premium round it would be expensive. The economy sucks - we are all broke - so here you are reading this.
