.30-06  Machine Gun Blanks
Machine gun blanks are identical in design to other .30-06 blanks so to tell them apart we color code them on the crimp. The color is a thin paint and does not foul the barrel or action of the weapon.  Tips on these rounds will be colored with a Black or Blue tip to identify them as a round not for use in the M-1 Garand which must be loaded to a very precise pressure level.  Machine gun blanks have 50%-100% greater pressure (depending on load) than standard M-1 blanks.

Machine guns must be blank fire adapted to cycle blanks.  Case length is included below for proper feed tray spacing.  Both Black and Blue tips are the same length.
Machine gun blanks can be fired in bolt action rifles though they are excessivly loud and have a very large muzzle flash ranging from a couple feet long with the black tip
to over a yard long with the Blue tip.

* Our Black tip blank is designed for reenactment use giving good pressure, sound and flash for automatic and semi-automatic versions of the 1917, & 1919 Browning belt fed weapons as well as all models of the Browning B.A.R.   Not for use in the M-1 rifle.

* Our Blue tip blank is a theatrical blank also used by some reenactment groups wanting a larger muzzle flash for public use.
Blue tips are available only upon request and are also not for use in the M-1 rifle.

Both blank types can be ordered without tip color for film use.
