New manufacture 5.56mm blanks


Note, all rounds made after Jan.  1,  2011 will have the powder charge increased by 4%.

While this should not change the size of the orifice in the blank adapter, some users of some AR-15 rifles may need to very slightly increase the BFA size.

M-16 rifles will see no change except more reliable function
at the 20 inch barrel .125 BFA size.


5.56 L.A.M.

After years of requests for a blank hotter than U.S. Military.  But not as hot as
movie blanks, we now make a mid-range power blank.

U.S.military blanks do not give off much flash in and give off very little sound. 
Movie blanks give off a 4 foot muzzle flash which is not realistic, hard on the
weapon and requires far more safety precautions.

Our round gives off a 6 inch muzzle flash (20 inch barrel, more with shorter barrels) with a report that sounds just like live rifle fire. Flash is Larger when flash enhancer is used. Designed for reenactment and film use so those portraying U.S. soldiers / police
can be seen and heard when firing.

Police should have their armorer contact us before use as safety requirments are often different due to the "hollywood" type blank fire adapter this blank is designed for.



20 inch barrel - .125 BFA recommended
16 inch barrel - .125  BFA Recommended
14.5 inch Barrel .140-.156 BFA Recommended
11.5 inch barrel - .156 - .164 BFA Recommended

Very well worn rifles may need slightly larger BFA sizes but move up SLOWLY.

Flash enhancers not recommended for 11.5 inch barrels unless round is being used in film work.

Designed for feeding in older A1 type uppers, newer M4 type uppers / feed ramps will work even better.

This is a purpose made AR-15/M-16 M200 type blank with more sound/ flash than U.S.G.I. at a lower price.
